Nothing could be finer It's her middle name. (Also, I must apologize to my Aunt Hortense and both Aunt Berthas. Well, one was a great-aunt. Actually, she was an outstanding aunt!)

Next time, Carrie will explain where her name came from. For a hint, vote for Everyday Heroes at TopWebComics. (Come on folks, let's build that rank back up!)

I should be able to get back to the twice-a-week updates, now that the site is back up and running. Also, I'm going to mirror the posts both here and at the old site; it may take a while to fully back up the archives here.

Hunker down and hold on, winter can't last forever ... can it?

Is Carrie allowed to use her mallet on Summer?

I've witnessed this I worked with an excellent photographer by the name of Steve Burger, he ran a DIY B&W darkroom in Phoenix back in the '70s/'80s. His wife mostly ran the darkroom, I was hired when she took time off to have their first kid, a girl. Steve named her Jessica Ray. JR. Junior Burger.

Thwack @Mental Mouse: Mallets are for rude guys. For Summer, she just uses blunt remarks.
