Here's the line-up ... OK, to recap ... Uma is hiding in plain sight, with her Adams field turned up to the max ... she and blonde mystery girl have been chatting online, and planned to meet at the park ... Dog Dude is hunting for Uma, knowing she's wearing a Mr. Mighty costume ... and Prayut has been drinking and is generally not a nice person. What he's looking for, we may soon find out.

Greta will grow up to be a civil rights lawyer, if she ever learns to pronounce it.

Hey, an actual update! It's been a difficult month ... Joan is going through chemo, and it's just knocking her flat; I have to keep in touch with her while working in a different state; holidays are coming and we have to arrange family visits around Joan's treatment schedule. The problem isn't time to draw, it's motivation ... I have so much on my mind that it's hard to concentrate on comics. Updates will be sporadic, but will continue somehow.

At times like this, I am incredibly grateful for our family, and our friends and neighbors. Everyone has been supportive, running errands, helping around the house, making extra trips to take Joan to and from her appointments. Through it all, Joan has faced her illness with amazing courage.

"Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light." --Dylan Thomas
