Sorry about missing Monday's update, my personal business took more time than I thought. Family's gotta come first, right? Anyway, I'm already started on next Monday's episode, so we should be back on track now.

I thought most grocery self-checkouts had an item limit (e.g. 10 or 15 items), which both of them look like they'd probably be over.

@MauveCloud: if there are "three other lanes open", nobody is going to care. I've checked out in the express lanes (with a cashier) with twenty-five or so items, when the store had empty lanes. I figure ms. Flam just wants to not have to make small talk.
