Protect the Purple! Mr. Mighty has had first-hand experience with unstable chemicals like that. (Go back and re-read Chapter 16 if you've forgotten.)

Will our young heroes-to-be rise to the challenge? Click on the TWC Vote button for a hint.

Well, the house is ready to sell, I'm talking to realtors and such, all the while looking for work. Time to act like a productive member of society again.

One day at a time ...

Chekhov's Sodabomb Awesome! That's a WELL set-up lampshade, even fully in-character. And you know what Chekhov said about hanging a lampshade in the first act... uh, er... someone's going to... be wearing it by the end? Something like that?

Coincidentally, a co-worker of mine recently had to help her daughter with a science project, and they decided to test the soda/mentos thing. I didn't learn the results though... now that I'm thinking, I'm not sure _what_ they tested about it.

Good luck on the house selling and job finding fronts, Ed!
And now Purple Rain is going through my head.

Good luck on both fronts.

Also... yeah, somebody is going to be holding the purple when the Mentos hit the grape.

@TheAuldGrump: "when the bullet hits the bone"... if I were a competent filker I'd pull out some Golden Earring. At least that's got some good music in my head tonight. :)

So it's like a super-size anti-theft dye pack?

Purple Bomb That's an awesome setup for use in a LARP for kids. Great idea!
Good luck with the house and job.
Purple Rain? That wouldn't be so bad, but now I've got the Firestone Tire theme song running through my head, with the lyrics "when the Mentos hits the grape" instead of the original. Sigh.

FYI on TWC Hey, Eddurd, I just voted for another comic and the 'prove you're not a bot' character was Ben T. Sharpley. Since I was coming here anyway, I followed the link...

You would be well advised to change your address with TWC to not point to WCN.

Edit: apparently TWC has two addresses, one for if you follow the voting link from a different comic, a different link if you're returning to the comic you're voting for. That's weird.

Thanks @Pastangum: I'll see if I can get that fixed. Thanks again!

Hey, Ed, best of luck, okay? Will we be seeing a supervillian who moonlights as a realtor later?
